Casa Lago is situated in the beautiful Polaris World Golf Resort of Hacienda Riquelme just 15 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport, 50 minutes from Alicante airport and just 2 miles from the growing town of Sucina. 

Ideal for family holidays, Casa Lago is a 2 bedroom, air conditioned, luxury apartment with a wonderful, large (30 SQM) south facing ‘L’ shaped balcony overlooking the lake, the 11th green, the 14th tee and  the widest part of the course. Whether a golfer or not the terrace is ideal for relaxing, possibly with drink, watching the golfers navigate the approach to the 11th green whilst trying to avoid the huge bunker and lake that guard it.

The Hacienda Riqelme resort is structured around a magnificent, 18 hole, par 72 golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail, a group of 9 golf courses that make up Europe’s best

golf offering.  Ample fairways are combined with hard to approach greens and bunkers all surrounded by wild flowers, olive trees and large lakes. The golfing fraternity have given it rave reviews and the course was highly praised after hosting the prestigious ‘65th Professional Golfers of Spain’ tournament in October 2010.

The Resort boasts 18 (yes, eighteen!) huge swimming pools, an outdoor gymnasium, a golf driving range,  a number of children’s play areas and a sports area offering Tennis, Paddle Tennis and Petanca. The centerpiece of the new Town Centre is the newly renovated Hacienda after which the resort is named and homes a new Pro-shop, a fantastic Clubhouse, the El Cason restaurant and the superb outdoor ‘El Palomar’ bar created in the old Dovecote

Hacienda Riquelme is just two miles from the traditional Spanish town of Sucina with a number of bars and restaurants and holds Fiesta’s that literally the whole town supports. Casa Lago is also just 15 minutes from the lovely beaches and resorts of the Mar Menor where you can enjoy Europe’s largest salt water lagoon, boasting over 170 km of shallow warm water.  The cosmopolitan city of Murcia is 25 minutes away, famous for its restaurants, bars and historical architecture and the lovely old port of Cartegena is just 30 minutes away.
